Pharmacological Action

Pharmacodynamics: Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic specifically used for animals, with strong effects against Mycoplasma. Its antibacterial spectrum is similar to erythromycin, including sensitive Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus, Clostridium septicum, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Listeria, Clostridium gastrogenes, and Clostridium chauvoei. Sensitive Gram-negative bacteria include Haemophilus, Neisseria meningitidis, and Pasteurella. Resistant bacteria may develop resistance to this drug, and there is partial cross-resistance between this drug and erythromycin in Staphylococcus aureus.
Pharmacokinetics: Tylosin can be absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract after oral administration, while phosphotylosin is less absorbed. Tylosin is widely distributed in the body after absorption, and the concentration in organs after injection is 2-3 times higher than that after oral administration, but it is not easy to penetrate into the cerebrospinal fluid.

Usage and Dosage

Calculated based on the content of this product. Mixed drinking: 1g per 1L of water for poultry, for 3-5 consecutive days.
