Pharmacological Effects

Pharmacology: Neomycin belongs to the aminoglycoside antibacterial drugs, and its antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of kanamycin. It has a strong antibacterial effect on most Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Proteus, Salmonella, and Pasteurella multocida, and is also sensitive to Staphylococcus aureus. Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Gram-positive bacteria (except Staphylococcus aureus), Rickettsia, anaerobes, and fungi are resistant to this product.
Pharmacokinetics: Neomycin is rarely absorbed after oral and topical administration, only 3% of the total amount is excreted in urine, and most of it is excreted from feces without undergoing changes. Absorption can increase when the intestinal mucosa is inflamed or ulcerated. Injection administration is rapidly absorbed, and its in vivo process is similar to kanamycin.

Aminoglycoside antibiotics. Mainly used for the treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by sensitive Gram-negative bacteria.

Usage and Dosage

Calculated based on this product. Mixed drinking: 0.15-0.23g per 1L of water for poultry. Use for 3-5 consecutive days.
